Ground Lock Operating Instructions

To Secure Aircraft:

• Ensure aircraft electrical system is denergized.
• Detach the battery connector from the aircraft battery by rotating the quick disconnect in a counterclockwise direction until separation occurs.
• Mate the battery connector to the ground lock and secure it by rotating the quick disconnect in a clockwise direction until it stops.
• Rotate key in a clockwise direction until it stops and remove the key.

To Restore Aircraft:

• Ensure aircraft electrical system is denergized and the battery master is off.
• Insert key into the ground lock and rotate counterclockwise until it stops.
• Detach the battery connector from the ground lock by rotating the quick disconnect in a counterclockwise direction until separation occurs.
• Mate the battery connector to the aircraft battery and secure it by rotating the quick disconnect firmly in a clockwise direction until a positive stop is felt.
