Ground Lock Operating Instructions

1) Ensure aircraft electrical system is denergized.

2) Detach the battery connector from the aircraft battery by rotating the

quick disconnect in a counterclockwise direction until separation occurs.

3) Mate the battery connector to the ground lock and secure it by rotating the

quick disconnect in a clockwise direction until it stops.

4) Rotate key in a clockwise direction until it stops and remove the key.

1) Ensure aircraft electrical system is denergized and the battery master is off.

2) Insert key into the ground lock and rotate counterclockwise until it stops.

3) Detach the battery connector from the ground lock by rotating the quick

disconnect in a counterclockwise direction until separation occurs.

4) Mate the battery connector to the aircraft battery and secure it by rotating

the quick disconnect firmly in a clockwise direction until a positive stop is felt.
